March procrastination brings April newsletters.

March procrastination brings April newsletters.

I really let this thing lapse again. It's some combination of being busy, and a whole lot of procrastination. But, that means lots of photos to take in.

Back in February, I worked on a photoshoot for Superfeet with my friend Tal. Lots of fun working with this crew. And it took us to some interesting locations in Washington like this.

At the end of February I made it to the awesome skate event, Slow Impact. For a day and a half I had a fantastic time seeing old friends, meeting new friends, skating, and taking in the talks. Then on Saturday morning I woke up with a terrible sore throat and feeling sick. I bailed out early so that I wouldn't spread this bug around, and so I could recover in the comfort of home. I was sad to miss what looked like a ton of awesome events and skating. Hopefully I'll get a rebate next year.

Derek had a birthday. I'm still waiting for the switch 360 flip he claimed in his 30s.

There was a gathering to remember our friend Quincy who left us 10 years ago. Crazy how the time passes. I'm grateful for these friends, and especially for knowing Quincy.

For a couple weeks every spring the cherry tree in my front yard puts on a spectacular show.

Skaters who bike, who converge on the spot, and rip.

Templeton with the picturesque nosegrind.

Took advantage of the abnormally warm temperature for a long adventure bike ride. I've been getting 5 to 10 miles in on my bike here and there. So 45 miles with some good elevation gain really kicked my ass. All worth it for some quality time exploring with friends.

And in the spirit of self promotion (that's what this is for, right?), I still have some photo books for sale. Holler at me through any of the channels and I can get one to you. Or I'm keeping a few in my truck while I'm out and about. $45 in person, or $50 that includes shipping.

Until next time, it might have been.
