Hot, golden days with long shadows.
August zoomed right by me. I finally got a few days at the river and wondered why I hadn't been doing that every time I had the chance since June. I know it's cliché, but time (especially summertime) feels like it is going faster. Unless you read the news, then it's dreadfully slow. For all its flying, August brought some amazing visitors on its flight path. Tim Ward inspired many more bike rides than I had been doing and a trip to the ocean. On the drive to the beach with Brian, we used The Bunt's Rapid Fire questions to pass the time and learned a lot about each other. It's my new favorite road trip game for skaters. It led to recounting some great skate stories. I skated Keenan's mini ramp twice in a couple weeks. Worked on a photoshoot next to the Sandy River. And wrapped up the month with a visit from my dear friend, Andreas. Continue on for visuals of all this and maybe more...

Here's to enjoying these shorter, warm days. Until next time, it might have been.
