High Fives and Skateboarding.

High Fives and Skateboarding.

I'm going to kick this off with a little self promotion instead of burying it at the end of this thing. The folks at The Portland Darkroom and The Portland Camera Club teamed up with the city of Portland to open a pop up shop down town. They have already hosted a few events, with more to come. And, they are having a print sale. There are many wonderful images for sale, including one by me. Could make a great gift for someone, just saying. They also have zines, books, and shirts for all the photo lovers.

Getting a skate photo of Templeton that I really liked got me excited for more skate photography. Perfect time of year for that as the rain sets in again. Ha. Also, I was gifted a fisheye lens from my friend, Tal. It is well used and has been on Tal's camera for some great photos. I'm excited to see what I can get with it. Gave it a trial run and hope to get better with it.

Andrew tailsliding the inside. Don't mind me missing the focus.

On a different day, I met up with a huge squad so we could watch the skaters who can jump high get some tricks on this ledge.

And here are a few photos from walking around the neighborhood, and from a shipyard where I went for a photo production.

Keeping myself accountable by sharing photo book updates. My test print of the book is on order and arriving soon. Once I have it in hand and I'm happy with the printing I'll be blasting out some stuff about pre-orders and some kind of book release party. Stay tuned!

Until next time, It Might Have Been.
